AKIKO THE EXPLORER in BRUNEI
Brunei or Begara Brunei Darussalam is a rich country because of its oil. We visited the Mosques and we also went to Museums like the Royal Regalia Building that has a lot of gold! You can also see the full regalia of Sultan, including the crown and royal chariot. Too bad we cannot take pictures inside the museum.
James Asr Hassanil Bolkiah Mosque -- the largest mosque in Brunei |
Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin Mosque -- considered as the major landmark of Brunei |
So many Jollibee Fastfood here! This is a carbonara (which we also don't have in the Philippines) |

Kampong Ayer (Water Village). It is known as the largest water village in the world. In this picture I was riding in their water taxi. |
This is one of the most beautiful places that you should visit in Brunei. |

The scenery, culture, people, and ambiance in Brunei are wonderful but I'm the type of person who loves adventure-- sweaty heart pumping adrenaline rush kind of adventure. Brunei is the place for you if you just want to chill and relax all day long.
