Narra Hill is highly recommended if you are looking for an isolated place to relax in Tagaytay. I went on a Sunday since there would be less traffic on the roads and it took me an hour to get to Tagaytay from Manila.
I got a bit early (check in is 2:00 pm) so I decided to stop by at Breakfast at Antonio's to have my brunch. It was exactly the kind of brunch I have been craving.

NARRA HILL
You won't get lost since the signages for Narra Hill are everywhere |
When I arrived, I was welcomed by a security guards at the gate with smiles on their faces |
Perfect for picture taking :) |
I went for a walk down the hill to the event venue. It is quite steep though, not good for those with bad knees. |
Perfect venue for events like wedding, birthday, get together etc. |
The place was lovely and the view was astonishing |
The size was just right for a dip in the pool. I wasn't able to swim since it was too cold and windy that time |
They have 4 rooms/kubos that are modern and clean and you can book thru Airbnb. I took a tour of the rest of the rooms. This is the kubo suite. It has a veranda and a small dining area |
More beds upstairs suitable for families |
They also serve meals for 800 pesos if you're too tired to go outside to look for a restaurant |
The room also has its own little kitchen |
Afterwards, I was guided to my cottage. I stayed at Kubo 2 which was really great. The room was simple, ideal for couples. The staffs are very accomdating and doing their best to make sure you have everything you need |
The room was fantastic! Really not your typical cut out of a hotel room and you see all the work put into details to make you feel at home |
Tamarind welcome drinks were served at the cottage |
I had a perfect panoramic view of Taal Lake from my room |
Downside of this place is low internet connection and rooms have no television but who needs it when you have an amazing view of Taal lake while playing board games |
Breakfast which was included in my room were great too! You can choose tea or coffee to go along with it |
I can't get over how beautiful Narra Hill is! It was the perfect spot to unwind and break away from the busy city. If you're wanting privacy, tranquility and fresh Tagaytay air and breeze - you definitely have to go here.
BAG OF BEANS, TWIN LAKES
I went to Bag of Beans at Twin Lakes before heading home which is 3 minutes away from Narra Hill. Their newest branch really looks like home |
Don't forget to buy raisin bread on your way home |
Garden Salad |
Grilled Salmon |
Rib Eye Steak |
Can't wait to go back at Narra Hill :)
